EDUCATION

Mt. Olive Lutheran Church provides spiritual growth opportunities for all ages—adults, youth, and children—through Bible study, group learning, and shared experiences that deepen our understanding of faith.

Faith Formation
for Young Hearts

At Mt. Olive, we believe children are an essential part of our faith community, and their spiritual growth matters to all of us. Each Sunday, we offer Bible education for children that begins during worship with a special Children’s Sermon. Led by our Youth Ministry Director, children gather around the baptismal font in the center of the church to hear and talk about God’s word in a way that’s engaging and age-appropriate. The whole congregation is present, creating a shared moment of learning, joy, and faith for all ages.

Sunday School

During Sunday worship at Mt. Olive Lutheran, children are invited forward for a special children’s sermon before heading to Sunday School in our preschool.

There, they take part in Bible-based lessons, hands-on activities, and help make the communion bread for the day’s service. Just before communion, the children return to the sanctuary to deliver the bread and rejoin the congregation for the rest of worship.
