Supporting the healthy development of adolescents requires understanding of the unique circumstances of their social, emotional, biological, cognitive and neurological development. 

In this seminar, Dr. Penelope Facher will present relevant aspects of all of these areas, with a particular focus upon adolescent brain development to help us understand how to best support and intervene with this generation of adolescents.

Dr. Facher has worked in education and mental health for 25 years. In addition to her private practice with adolescents, parents, individuals and couples, she consults with schools both locally and nationally, and is a noted lecturer and trainer.

Lecture Location
Here at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 14th Street and Ocean Park Blvd. in Santa Monica, California.  Free parking available in the church parking lot.  Lunch provided.
